Central DB Maintenance Window – Database Security Patching (CENTRALDB-4073, 4075, 4079, 4080) Oct 24, 2026 16:00-21:00 UTC
Security patches will be applied to four Central database clusters (sql08eu-std in the EU, aurora-5-b, central-postgres05 and aurora-1b) on Saturday 24 October 2026, between 16:00 and 21:00 UTC (11:00–16:00 US Central / 17:00–22:00 UK).
The clusters are patched one at a time. Each database will be unavailable for about 5 minutes while it restarts, up to about 15 minutes for aurora-5-b and 15–30 minutes for sql08eu-std. Applications will reconnect automatically. No action is needed.

Security updates will be applied to the shared Central Oracle database (central-oracle-11) and five Central PostgreSQL clusters (central-postgres03, 06, 08, and central-postgres11 and 02 in the EU) on Sunday 25 October 2026, between 06:00 and 11:00 UTC (01:00–06:00 US Central / 06:00–11:00 UK).
The clusters are patched one at a time. Restarts take about 4–5 minutes for central-postgres03 and 06, 10–20 minutes for central-postgres08, 11 and 02 (restarts plus an instance resize), and 35–45 minutes across several short restarts for central-oracle-11. Applications will reconnect automatically. No action is needed.
